About the Deep River Bowmen
name is Mike Tichenor. I'm the webmaster for the Deep
River Bowmen site. I've been involved in archery since I
was a kid (that's August, 1962 in the picture above) but,
wasn't seriously involved until 1979 when I moved from
Kentucky to Indiana and joined Deep River Bowmen. I began
bowhunting and competing in archery events held at the
club and other local clubs. I'm currently shooting either
a TradTech Titan ILF recurve - 40 lbs for leagues and 3-D

Bear Razorhead lights or a Black Widow PMA-II also at 40
and 50 lbs. I also shoot a PSE Laser Magnum, 47lbs w/Easton

Elan olympic recurve for target shooting.
